Chopbed Cabbage, Grated Carrots, Chopped Bell Peppers, Green Chilies, Minced Garlic, Minced Ginger, All-Purpose Flour, Cornstarch, Salt, Soy Sauce, And Chili Sauce Should All Be Combined In A Big Mixing Bowl.
Everything Should Be Thoroughly Mixed To Resemble Dough. To Bring Everything Together, Add A Little Water If The Mixture Seems Too Dry.
Form The Mixture Into Round Balls By Dividing It Into Small Portions.
In A Pan, Heat The Oil For Deep Frying. The Manchurian Balls Should Be Carefully Dropped Into The Hot Oil Once It Has Heated Up.
The Balls Should Be Fried On Medium Heat Until Crispy And Golden Brown. Take Them Out Of The Oil And Use Paper Towels To Absorb Any Leftover Oil. Put Aside.
- Get The Manchurian Sauce Ready.
Take A Pan, Let It Heat On Low Flame And Add One Tablespoon Of Oil In It And Heat It. Add The Chopped Ginger And Minced Garlic. Sauté Until Fragrant, About 1 Minute.
Add The Diced Bell Pepper, Chopped Onion, And Sliced Green Chilies. Stir-Fry The Vegetables For A Short While Until They Start To Get Slightly Softer.
Add Tomato Ketchup, Chili Sauce, And Soy Sauce Now. Toss To Combine Well.
Make A Slurry By Combining Cornstarch And Water In A Small Bowl. Stir This Slurry Constantly As You Add It To The Pan.
Add The Water, Then Season With Salt And Pepper To Suit Your Taste. Simmer The Sauce For A Few Minutes To Give It A Slight Thickening.
Add The Fried Manchurian Balls To The Pan Once The Sauce Has The Right Consistency. Toss The Balls Gently In The Sauce Until Thoroughly Coated.
Allow The Flavors To Combine By Cooking For An Additional One To Two Minutes.
- Serve:
Place The Sauce-Covered Manchurian Balls On A Platter For Serving. If Desired, Garnish With Chopped Cilantro Or Spring Onions.
Serve Hot As An Appetizer Or As An Accompaniment To Noodles Or Fried Rice.
